Death Note: Mello

Last night I finished reading Death Note and was once again going all "MELLO!" like I tend to do. Because I love him and he is amazing.

So anyway, I was in the mood to color something and so I came to dA, typed in 'Mello Lineart' and this great picture by ([link])came up. Deciding that this picture was perfect, I went about practicing my coloring skills.

I think it came out pretty good actually, and I followed 's tutorial on soft coloring for most of it. The hair was totally done on my own using what I learned from the tutorial, she didn't have a hair one up.

I don't even know HOW many hours I spent on this. But it was definitely worth it. I love how it looks and I'm very proud.
